Ink Halt
An ink halt marks the last line that stays on the page, and who may open the next line.
The halt writes the “stop here” sentence, who may add another line, and which cell to read first when the sheet is opened again. It is not a legal stop-notice or a court paper. It does not replace your own contracts or house rules.
On the slip
- Stop-here sentence
- Who may open the next line
- First cell on return
- Dates side by side
Kept off the page
- Legal stop-notices
- Court or notary filings
- Promised dispute outcomes
